Earl Watson Elite`s Jemarl Baker (ESPN Top 50) has committed to Coach John Calipari and Kentucky University. Baker who originally committed to Cal was released from his letter of intent after the departure of Coach Cuonzo Martin.
Baker joins a star studded recruiting class that includes Hamidou Diallo (Putnam Science Academy), P.J. Washington (Findlay Prep), Quade Green (Neumann Goretti), Nick Richards (St. Patrick), and Jarred Vanderbilt (Victory Prep). Kentucky will be reloading for another deep NCAA tournament run and with the addition of Baker increasing their chances of reaching the big dance. Kentucky in desperate need of a high level shooter, gets Baker one of the top shooters in the 2017 class.
Baker is the first Kentucky commitment for the Earl Watson Elite program who already boasts players across the Pac-12, WCC, and numerous other conferences.
